Hi, my name is Joel Goudeau, and I am an Art Director at Charles Butt Foundation.
I have over 20 years of experience branding, animating, illustrating, wireframing, photographing, video editing, strategizing, and managing teams – both in the corporate and agency space.
I have spend the majority of those years working for educational nonprofit organizations, both big and small. As a result, I have had the privilege of doing a variety of projects and managing a multitude of local and statewide campaigns that have made a difference in the lives of individuals as well as parts of the educational system as a whole.
I love what I do. I consider myself fortunate to be able to combine my passion as an artist with causes that I believe in. In addition, there is nothing more fulfilling to me than taking a project from start to finish and knowing that I had a hand in making something not just good – but great. I'm the ultimate "maximizer." I've been known to be a bit of a perfectionist, but that always comes with the goal of accomplishing the optimal outcome for any project that I choose to undertake.
I appreciate the challenge that comes with each new project. I thrive in the uncertainty and acknowledge that the best creative solutions are often found in the messiness of discovery and testing.
